This Saturday, the Old Greenwich-Riverside Community Center (OGRCC) will host its annual Shaun Clinton Memorial Recreational Soccer Tournament with over 500 local boys and girls from Grades 1 – 5 participating at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center and Binney Park.
This tournament is dedicated to a former longtime OGRCC board member that passed away in 2005. Shaun spent countless hours as the Commissioner of Recreational Soccer for the OGRCC, overseeing thousands of Children. He was a major contributor to the recreational soccer program’s success, attracting hundreds of children throughout Fairfield County from ages three and up.
Recreational teams will play in a round-robin format in 15 minutes increments. All participants receive a participation medal, and trophies are distributed to first and second-place winners.
