All STM Fieldhouse sessions will be hosted at a brand-new, state-of-the-art indoor turf facility in Stamford, on the border with Old Greenwich. We will offer indoor programs for all ages in the fall, winter, and spring.
3v3 Boys and Girls
This fun, fast-paced format maximizing player touches on the ball, providing frequent opportunities for game related decision making, constant transitions from attacking to defending (and vice versa). Focus will also be on increased 1v1 encounters in attacking and defensive scenarios – a key component of player development at the early ages. Players will take part in a technical warm up at the beginning of each session prior to splitting into teams and playing 3v3 games.
These sessions will focus on individual technical development during the first few sessions. Players will then be placed in game situations with varied formats of small-sided games to maximize player touches on the ball, individual technical actions, and game play throughout the winter months.
