Co-Director Sandpipers Beach Camp
Duties
– Develop and implement a comprehensive camp program that aligns with the organization’s mission and goals
– Oversee all aspects of camp operations, including staff management, program planning, and budgeting
– Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers and staff members
– Create a positive and inclusive camp environment that fosters personal growth and development
– Coordinate and lead staff training sessions to ensure all employees are prepared for their roles
– Evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve the overall camp experience
Qualifications
– Higher education teaching experience or background in education administration preferred
– Ability to educate and engage students of various ages and backgrounds
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team of staff members
– Excellent organizational and time management abilities
– Experience working with children or youth in a camp or educational setting
– Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to camp activities
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
