On behalf of the Greenwich RFC Supervisory Board and the OGRCC we are pleased to announce that Danone North America (“Danone”) has agreed to become the lead sponsor of our Rugby Club and programs for a three-year term beginning January 1, 2021.

As part of the sponsorship agreement, Greenwich RFC will showcase the Danone North America corporate identity across the Club, on our coaching apparel, and at the OGRCC level.  Individual brands such as Oikos®, Danimals® and Activia® will be featured across our different teams and age grades.

Our goal at Greenwich RFC is to lead the growth of rugby in our area, providing a fulfilling, healthy experience for players ranging in age from 4 years old to adult. Danone’s sponsorship will accelerate key initiatives, including further development of the men’s team, launch of girls and women’s teams, and provision of additional need-based scholarships. 

Rugby holds close, and our Club emphasizes, defining character-building values –Integrity, Passion, Solidarity, Discipline and Respect – which pair well with Danone’s corporate values of Humanism, Openness, Proximity and Enthusiasm.
